He is an Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. BOE won't allow him to be a head coach so Gandy will be the Head Coach.

BOE has nothing to do with it.

 

These are the RULES.  Bumper knew the rules when he decided to go in the direction he did.  Bumper chose not to be a head coach.

Correct...he did choose to further his career. It will just be interesting because he will also still coach just not in the head role.
