Happy Valley new football coach

Can't see this lasting much longer, just a rumor but i heard Cloudland was courting Brewer from Avery pretty hard.I'm not sure who will be coaching next season but whoever it is just lost a pretty special class. Its going to be difficult to replace all the kids off last years team. That bunch won a TON of football game for alonnnnngggg time.

 

i would like to see that happen,I'm not saying he's not a good coach just not head coach material maybe an assistant.this year they should have been playing in state I think they were just as talented as coalfield they were just out coached.They still have a pretty good one two punch in the backfield coming back some young lineman also(the Blair kid could be pretty special)if they are used in the right way.

               I'd bet against the rumor thing but you never know.  Also agree that Cloudland will still have some fine players but the class thats graduating will be very hard to replace. They could probably play blind folded and still win their region next season,weakest region I've ever seen  but thats not the fault of Cloudland.

That football region is about like our basketball district over here. Cloudland fans will like free district titles for a while then you get starved for some competition.

I agree. I know they used to be similar to CD a few years ago in both talent and scheme. They struggled last year and from what I hear DB makes it hard for them to get athletes there anymore.

What do you think D-B has to do with North's student population (at least since Kingsport annexed half of SN's area in the early 90's)? There are probably a couple hundred city kids going to North and South in addition to the county kids actually zoned for those two schools.

Don't really know or care...just stating what I've heard from people in that area. I cant imagine kids NOT wanting to go to D-B instead of S-N if they have the capability to get there.

I'm sure we've heard the same things but I'm not sure there's any substance to the rumors.But usually when there's alot of smoke' there is a fire.

Just another rumor but I've heard he may be helping Carp coach Basketball. I actually don't believe any thing floating around until it happens, rumors fly around every year, but most of them never happen.
