TheTruthPrevails
Horrible just downright awful. Prayers for all involved and their families. In the last month this is the fourth wreck involving young kids(under 21) in Marion county. Eight children in those four wrecks.

PurplePower68
Prayers sent..hoping for the best. Any updates?2 were released from hospital with broken bones, cuts, bruises, etc.... Neither of those 2 remember anything. One of the girls had her 2nd surgery today or tomorrow. (Not really sure) Dr's are amazed she isn't paralyzed due to the injuries. One boy had pressure relieved on his brain and the next 48 hours are really crucial. Both are still on ventilators. This comes on the heels of a weekend about 3 weeks ago that saw 3 separate accidents that claimed the lives of 2 girls, 1 boy that's in rehab that has a 5% chance of walking again and another girl who was in icu for a long while but did come home but still has a long road ahead of her. Another accident involving a girl a little over a week ago has her in a medically induced coma. All these accidents were teenage kids. This community has been through a lot in the past month. OLD PIRATE
OP don't rightly understand how the youngons could wreck where they did? Good to hear progress is being made!
TheTruthPrevails
As of yesterday the two most seriously injured kids are showing slow signs of improvement. The girl was supposed to come off the ventilator after her second surgery yesterday. The male is still in a medically induced coma because his body needs to heal. He has shown some response to the tests and his swelling has started to come down some. Still a long road ahead and long recovery, but any positive news is good news at this point.
