I'm not sure Dyersburg can beat Lexington. Lexington has size that will give Dyersburg problems. Lexington also has the athletes at the guard spot to contain Myah. I do think that Dyersburg matches up better with Bolivar though.

I think Dyersburg can beat Lexington and would kill Bolivar.  Chester County should have beaten Bolivar and would have had their leading scorer and not gotten in foul trouble on a ridiculous fourth foul call.

That is a tough draw to get to the championship game of the District and then to draw South Side.  Westview and Crockett are playing for more than a championship, they are playing to stay away from South Side.

Crockett Co wins 43-38. Westview only scored 2 points in the 2nd quarter and was 1 for 6 from the free throw line for the game. They couldn't hit anything tonight. Libby Hart scored 22 for Crockett Co. Should make for an exciting Region Tournament!

Coach Brian Haskins from Westview was named Coach of the Year. Myah Taylor got District MVP and Libby Hart got Tournament MVP

Lexington and Bolivar is the 14-AA girls championship. What im hearing is, IF the weather forces postponment of the girls games tomorrow, they will play Tuesday and boys will go Wednesday. The games will be played, even if the worst-case scenario is all 4 games have to be played Wednesday.

Question....if by some weather "fluke" and 14AA doesn't have an opportunity to finish their district tourney this week due to prolonged weather issues.....does the seeding fall back to the finishing order of the regular season district??

I believe that is the way it has been done in the past.....anyone know?

They will figure a way to get the games played no matter what.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
