Shane5020
The Eagles played 7-7 at CA 2x's against MtP, CA, Richland, Columbia Central. It went as expected. We scored some TD's and was scored on too. If they were keeping score we may have won 1 game, but the boys are looking good. Practice is up tempo and high energy. I think they will catch some by surprise this year.
partsunknown2
????? Chief How does Goodpasture look with new coach? Will you improve on the record last year even with moving back to 3a?
STownEagleReporter
@ Partsunknown.. That best not be a shot at our coach....
partsunknown2
Not at all, I just don't believe it was a good fit at Goodpasture. I was only asking as I believe Chief is associated with Goodpasture. Good luck to both teams this year.
fodeldink
Definitely will be a contender in their first few years. Summertown has always had athletes, mostly in baseball and basketball, but I can see that translating over to their football team. In my opinion, Summertown usually has good baskerball and baseball teams because they can focus on and commit more time to those two sports since they didn't have a football program.
