The Major girl dominated the game. She had a double-double. MLK beating CPA was no fluke. Three CC starters fouled out. Eliz-town better watch out.

First half was cannon playing badly. Refs didn't help when they made a push but you can't get in a hole that deep.

The best team won IMO but Cannon County had to beat 8 for most of the night. I am a Gibson County Fan, but it was a terribly officiated game.

7 point game in 4th quarter...then 3 of CC's starters were fouled out in about 2 minutes time...game over at this point...MLK left starters in against CC's second team until about 30 seconds left in game and ran up the score...officiating was dreadful...MLK killed CC on the boards

Congrats to MLK on the victory, I expected yall to win and said so. Congrats to Cannon County on another great season too. There is no shame in tonight's loss, keep your heads high. Every team in the entire state that didn't make it this far would of killed just to of been in the position to lose a state tournament game to begin with.

Cannon stayed zone too long. I know Coach Dodgen was reluctant to go man because of the matchup problems but he had no choice. Yes, the officiating was awful. Davis fouled out making a hustle play for a loose ball. It should've been a jump ball

Yeah Cannon County didn't press hardly at all.

Dodgen presses every team he plays throughout the season, and does so with success.. MLK definitely had the height advantage and yes the fouls were shady at best.. But, the press was non existent tonight.. Davis had a bulls eye on her back all night for some reason.. Hard to win when everyone is constantly being whistled for fouls, but that happens and you have to play through it.. Congrats CC on another great year..
