After an errant Heritage punt snap went out of the end zone on its first possession, the Rebels had a 2-0 lead. Running back Joel Hopkins made it 9-0 with a 43-yard carry.

 

Well, the first points were scored on a safety courtesy of Heritage's loooooooooong snapper. The first touchdown was by J. Hopkins.

Well the Barn hit this one right as we can all go back and refer to my prediction. Number 43# took it home for 43 yard touchdown for the first one last night. I didn't bet my house because I was so busy this week but Mrs Townsend let me take home the extra brownies she made for us last night which were awesome.

I'm telling you she makes the best brownies that are passed around after we score a touchdown. I bet if we were to all weighed in last night before the game and after the last game this season and all the touchdowns we score there would be a major difference on the scales. Wouldn't trade those seats for anything in the world.
