Might as well pen it in Josh Silvey at Greenback.He was a All State selection his Freshman and Sophomore yr at Catholic High in Knoxville,he will be in the running for 1A Mr Football before it is said and done.He is a heck of a football player!

I was thinking the same thing.LOL.He is not an All State DB,he is a heck of a QB.He will be the best in the East.I hate it when they take spots away just so a kid can make All State.He had to grow alot to be 6'4!

For no more than Coalfield played Parker at DB last year, he had several interceptions.

I wouldn't pay much attention to pre season All State if Austin Whitehead from Cloudland is not on the list. Its all about media coverage or LACK OF. That being said, I'm sure all who are on the list are very quality players.

You are correct at the end of the yr this list will be totally different.Whats funny is i have seen lettermans jackets with pre season All State on themn,now thats taken it too serious!
