All well and good but if the quitter comes back next year or even this year and runs the ball down DB's throat,then he will be a very costly quitter indeed.He is still a kid and the ball has been dropped way more then by just a kid in a scrimmage.

 

There have been discipline problems here long before he ever got to DB. He's had problems holding on to the football dating back to last year at least. It was a big issue that lead to his leaving DB. Well that and Rogers was beating him out of playing time. I see last night why.

I won't argue about the fact that there were problems but it will be bad if coach Carter can do what couldn't be done in the Kingsport system and fix the problems.

Well, after looking at some pictures from the game last night it looks like Coach Carter has done a very good job.  Have you seen the picture of Science Hill's walking billboard at the game last night? 

 

Yeah, I'm guessing Coach Carter loves to see his players at DB football games decked out in SH swag.  I'm just glad the player didn't try and draw attention to himself.

Actually, I was walking around at halftime to the concession stand and I happened to have seen King standing there wearing his Science Hill shirt (which he has the right to) but then he looked at the team and kept saying "Y'all a bunch of P***ies. Y'all gonna go 1-9. We're coming for you. I'm going to run through you guys all night"

 

Stacy Carter should really control his players when they are representing his team.  It was kind of embarrassing to see him. Even though I am a spectator as well, you don't need to talk trash and use foul language...as a KID

From my understandings and what people talk about on the streets, King would curse out coaches. I was at the scrimmage in MoTown and I saw him toss his helmet and refuse to play anymore. A few of us in the stands began to wonder what the issue was. We said that he has had poor attitude all summer leading up to the season

This is not the place when your talking about a kid.I could say a bunch of crap about lots of kids that would make this look innocent and what good would it do.If your talking about a coach who has done wrong or just isn't worth a dam ,this is the place for sure.

I don't know Waco how it would be bad if DB's biggest rival can take a great athlete that DB can't use and turn him into a great weapon on Friday nights.I do hope for the young man that it works out if he plays football or just gets an education and makes a good living one of these days

Can't really disagree with much of what your are saying Dark Knight, other than for me I believe our opponent next week could be considered our biggest rival.

 

I know we don't play OR every year, but it seems much more of a rivalry than SH does.  It's not really been until recently that SH has put up much of a fight on the field.

 

Just my thoughts.  Any my thoughts plus $10 might get you a cup of coffee from Starbucks.
