We had lot of pressure on the qbs that caused a lot of Mis throws and a few Mis tackles .... I think DB will only get better ... Proud of these boys !!!

There two big wideouts didn't beat us I think. They had that one TD pass and a few other catches but really nothing that put the game out of reach. To me I think #17 at QB should have got more reps.He looked like he could be a beast.Thought they didn't use #9 as much as they should. Both #5 and #9 was a lot bigger(taller) than the guys covering them and OR didn't seem to want to take advantage of it.At first site I thought those guys would kill us,But I think the OR coaches didn't use them.Would love to see those guys in maroon and grey!.

WB has some issues on the offensive line and will struggle against teams that have good D-lines. But other than that this WB team is pretty good. We have good skill players on offense, a solid defense, and good special teams play. Outside of Maryville, Dobyns Bennett is probably the toughest team we have to face on the rest of the schedule. If we can keep this game close and compete well it will bode well for the rest of the season.

I,for one, expect to see the Govs compete better and keep this one closer than the last game. If you have been watching this Govs team you can appreciate how much they improve every single week under Shadowens. DB will be the best team we see besides Maryville from here on out. If we stay healthy we'll have a chance in every single game besides the Maryville game.

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
