Rankin is a tremendous coach and Alcoa has a great program. However, the gap between these schools has widened more than normal the last couple of years. Alcoa will give it their all as always but I think they are physically overmatched. I look for Maryville to win big again.

That's how I see it also. The President of Herb's Fine Dining and Cold Beer was setting in my office this morning in the old farts section of Hardee's and let me know how bad Loudon was on his visit to Alcoa last night. He told me that half their starters played both ways and it was in his opinion that the Redskins were a very bad football team and decided to move on to watch Heritage and try to salvage the rest of the evening with a decent football game to watch.

Maryville may throw it all over the field on my Tornadoes, but Alcoa's front 4 won't be pushed around by many teams. This is the biggest line we've had and they are physical. I think it will be closer than most may think.
