Tennessee will be fine BG has one of the best wr groups in the country and Tennessee is without its DB coach... The up tempo style is hurting them I still think they go 9-3 in the regular season...

Alcoa's defensive front is very good and fast. LB's a little young, but playing well. DB's and safeties will be tested long and hard against the Rebels.

 

Offense is a little more balanced than years past. But, the run game is not as physical. Except when #18 comes in.

#33 FB, has been a surprise and has ran well. 

 

Kicking game a special teams has been great. Alcoa Finally can put a kickoff into the endzone.......something you guys do year in year out.

 

Alcoa's depth is down, dressing 70-75 players. A little more players playing both ways. Not good against Maryville's deep depth.

 

I like to see Alcoa hold Maryville to 35 points? tall task...............,<sigh>

Hopefully it will be a little cooler next week , that's usually been an advantage for Maryville and their depth playing in the August heat . Sounds like it should be another great Alcoa / Maryville game and win or lose hopefully we'll both be down in Cookeville again in December .
