Preseason favorites in single A ( Which districts are strong this year)

1 and 3 and 2 and 4 seeds of the district tournament are in the same bracket in the region. Trenton will want to be 1 or 2 to avoid GC in the region semis and South Gibson will want to be 1 or 2 to avoid Westview in the region semis.

It was a combination of GC kinda going through the motions and UC stepping up their game. UC out hustled and rebounded GC. UC was winning by 1 at the end of three and GC went on a 10-0 run to start the 4th.

....and that's what kind of worries me about Gibson. There's no doubt that they are as talented as anyone in Single A, but all it takes is one game in the tournaments where you're "going through the motions" and the season is over with.

I agree. Tonight GC came out and jumped ahead by about 15-16 in the first quarter and took their foot off the gas. Credit to uc for not quiting and turning it into a game and taking the lead at end of 3rd. If GC can keep focus and play their best. They will be hard to beat. But that is a big "if".

I think GC has a problem in that they only play a few girls off the bench and that may eventually come back to get them. UC played extremely hard but they also caused GC to play out of character by pushing the tempo and handling the pressure.

GC will be okay.  I think they go to Murfreesboro unbeaten.  The only way they don't make it to state is if they slip up in the Region finals and have to travel to Middleton.

They played poorly against Crockett County last Fri. and next night played Westview and won by double digits and led by double digits most of the game. So, they will be ready come tourney time. Are they going to win some ugly games? Yes. I think GC's experience will get them to M Boro though.

Just a reminder 3A is the strongest from top to bottom by far.

I'm gonna say no. I can see us getting beat at the Hub Christmas Tourney or at Bradford last game of year. Trenton is not an easy out either.

They also beat Chester County. I think there is a good chance they win out regular season. Don't think South Side is in Hub City. Who will be there that can beat them?
