Yeah...Alcoa...CPA & CAK are probably scared to death...lol.

Are they the most dominate team in our region? Id say yes but not in the entire 3A..that bein said if smith county, dekalb county and upperman were not average this year sequatchie would be finishing 3rd or 4th in the region. But that is the way football is. This is sequatchies year to win the region and make a good playoff run. Id like to see how they do coming off a big rivalry win hopefully they dont come out flat play a good game and continue on their win streak

Squatch rolls in this one, probably wins by 30. Most dominant team in 3A right now , no question.

maybe in 3A-4........Booger would like to see them Injuns keep that streak going; and thinkin they will.......but it want be by no 30...oh, its gonna be a packed house under that press box......those are numbers of a true believer smokin outta Indians secret stash of valley patties...thats a Booger Pickin

Be careful thats a very very bold statement!!! i think when you get to the top 3 or 4 in 3A they are a cut above the 5-10 ranked teams! Not saying SC not a good team by no means! i just believe Alcoa, CPA,CAK are in a league of ther own!!

What hurts DC and UH is the run game. Neither team have dominant run games, and either team do a great job stopping good running teams. Rarley does a pure spread type team with no running game make deep playoff runs. UH is a little better at each than DC...but still is what hurts both teams.

    • I have no affiliation with Maryville anymore outside of being a 2nd generation graduate from a large family of Rebel alumni. That relationship ended courtesy of the lame duck AD (a Bearden grad I might add) and the HBIC. That said, I could care less if a private school comes through and offers every promising athlete out of that school or any other school better opportunities.
    • A perfect example is for athletes at Clinton High School. I will completely understand, and hopefully everyone should understand why they want to, and as of right now, it looks like that’s going to happen in numbers over the summer.
    • I mean, that’s easy to say when it hasn’t happened to your school that often, if at all, but yeah, I think everybody should be for the student athlete or player. Whatever they think will help them or their athletic career, I feel like they should be able to do that, even if that means transferring schools. Now I don’t really get that when you have almost every offer you could want and then jump ship, but what can I say? I guess money talks.
    • I for one am all for it.
    • Covid killed the city because they chose not to play football in the 2020 season. Therefore, kids weren't able to practice and develop, and continuing to lift weights. Memphis basically had 7/8 graders, skipping a year, then playing 9/10 high school football. Now, there's only one team that has made a "dent" which will be Southwind (made it to the 5A semifinals last year).  If you want to go more suburbs, then it'll be Houston, which won the 6A state title, defeating Oakland Other than that, I agree.
