The kid is like a Kenyan. He can run all day. He'll be fine because I'm sure he won't be playing defense. He'll be handing it off and throwing it and that's about it. They probably won't want him keeping the ball too often.

What kind of college prospect does it look like McKinney might be? Is he just a good athlete playing qb? Is he div 2, FCS, etc? Too early to tell? Or is he a better hoops prospect?

He can sling the football but he's also a good athlete. I thought his best sport was baseball but he didn't play last year. I think he's a better FB player than basketball.

He's a phenomenal QB; his freshman state record last year proves that. He's can move good and has a strong arm. It's scary to think of how good he'll be in 2 years. I also believe that with his size, athletic ability and tremendous upside that he would be a legit D1 WR. That's all just speculation and opinion but he's a special talent.

I've seen him play hoops some, he looks like he could certainly play div 2 hoops, maybe higher. It's just hard to tell sometimes vs the competition in these small schools just how good a standout player is. If he's better at football than hoops, that's pretty impressive though.
