MidTennFootball
WC will travel 2, 3 or 4 hours to play a play off game and still bring more fans with them than the boro schools do to any of their away games. I counted 34 people in the stands for the No. 2 team in the state at one of their away games. Should a team with a losing record play in a play off game? Definitely not...we all know that. A play off game is a reward for great season. As of today, 6 teams out of the Super 32 have a .500 winning percentage and 10 teams are below .500. 1.) They were playing Warren County. 2.) Most of these kids have never had to worry about going to district/region games that was more than 15 min. away. Way more distractions are well in the area than there were 3.) Since the last time Oakland and Warren County were in the same league, 3 new schools have been built and Oakland's demographic profile has radically changed Warren County should be proud of its fan support. Maybe if the powers that be showed similar pride they wouldn't get mercy ruled every game
Pioneersports
Siegel should be heavily favored tonight.
MidTennFootball
Letters were sent, petitions signed and sent and a ton of phone calls made to the TSSAA and officials attended meetings in opposition. The fact is they were not listening and directly commented, "We could care less about Warren and Coffee County" Warren Co. had a chance to opt out of 6A (like LaVergne did) when the TSSAA was updating their enrollment. Maybe if they were thinking with their brains instead if their wallets, they would be in 5A too Edited October 23, 2015 by MidTennFootball

MidTennFootball
None of the 3 equal a loyal fan base. It's a fan base that has helped fund a indoor facility,a jumbotron and whatever else Oakland has needed to stay near the top. It's OK though, you guys have always had a Napoleon Complex when it comes to schools from the Boro. Some things never change
PIONEERS12
I respect what Oakland has done.
Indian
None of the 3 equal a loyal fan base. 2000 students and they bring 35 fans to a game 45 minutes away, that is awful. Parents alone should total at least 100. What kind of demographic change could cause such a lack of interest.

What kind of demographic change could cause such a lack of interest. Go watch a game in Rutherford County. It's not a problem unique to Oakland. Games that were played before crowds of 9-10,000 now are lucky if you get half that. I don't like it either, but I also understand that times have changed and your seeing a downturn in attendance across the board

What type of injury was it? How did he get hurt? Prayers going up to the big guy from Dowelltown.
