Hope and pray Myers heals quickly. Coming off field at half Rankin said "if the freshman quarterback goes down I guess you'll see me out there". Alcoa front seven impressive as usual but secondary was outstanding as well. Smith had time to throw often but nobody to throw to. Hoping 13 gets well soon!

The Alcoa freshman can flat out sling the ball. That kid will be the real deal before his high school days are over. I hope the starter will be back soon. Everyone knows how good the Alcoa defensive front is but their secondary gave up 0 tds tonight and picked off 3 passes. I know a lot of that has to do with the constant pressure the qb was under but that defensive unit is as good as you'll see. When you hold an offense like CAKs to 7 points, that's impressive!
