Haha this guy is easily the most courteous and likeable fella in these threads. I hope CAK pulls the upset because it would be a meltdown of epic proportions.

I still think Alcoa by 21 because I dont think CAK can stop the run. Go CAK!!!!

Why Thank you! Undeserved, but I appreciate the complement none the less!

I found out when I drove out there for lunch from Cedar Bluff. He sets up a food truck at Big Lots now.

Well he is a great guy and I'm sure he knows what is best for his business and family! But man was that a great experience. At $10, honestly I wouldn't spend that much on a regular basis for lunch, but for an occasional treat, it was the best! Great food, great variety, and a great guy. (Didn't care much for the Alcoa decor, but hey, no one's perfect :)

Not sure who's run Cak hasn't stopped? Could you inform me?

Honesty, CAK has played the run very very well. But to be balanced:

1. They haven't faced a run attack like Alcoa

2. They are playing without their number 1 tackler two years running at ILB, and their 6-5 255 DE that will be playing at Furman next year. (as well as their number one RB, all lost to ACL's)

The Warriors have their work cut out for them.

On the other hand, Alcoa has not faced a passing game like CAK's. While Maryville is the best team in the state, they do not put the constant pressure on you from the air that CAK does. When mixed in with a good tail back and a mobil QB, it can be very hard to stop. Then again, CAK has not faced a defense like Alcoa's. So we'll see how it all shakes out.

Alcoa is the favorite in all of 3A IMO, including against CPA or Liberty. But not too long ago, CAK beat them 3 out of 4 times. So we'll see. I do wish the Warriors were facing them with all their weapons. Alcoa doesn't need any help. But that's football

Tony Basilio trying to Get Big Will to come on his Fox 43 show tomorrow, I don't think Bill will would miss this Alcoa Verse CAk game for the world. Will Alcoa do another "Silver" Out tomorrow Night? I heard they had to can the Tornado warning as visting teams were offended by it!(Upperman)U Goodard field and used Purdue Jumbotron is ready!

Scored again! 49-0, Alcoa, and the game hasn't started! Man, these guys are good!

Randall Cobb back at Qb? Langster at Reciever? Robinson at TE? Warren at HB? older Warren at TE?(He's in jail) Shannon Mitchell Back? Lil Al Back? that's who playing against the Warrior correct? By the way rankin called the double reverse upside down hand off pass for a score!

Due to a little known rule, I have heard that 2 Tysons also have a couple of more games of eligibility. I am looking all over the place for eligibility for Josh Smith and Davis Howell. I'll let you know if I come up with anything, but it looks like we are so far behind even before kick off that it just doesn't matter.

I honestly think your point about CAKs constant pressure through the air plays into Alcoas favor. With Maryville, you have to be prepared for a very good, balanced offensive attack. CAK is not a "CAKe" walk for anyone. Alcoa better be on their A game.

    • Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things... Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.
    • What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.
