In all honesty, I think if WC keeps turnovers to 1 or less, and cuts back on the penalties, we have a very good shot of winning this game!  I also think NC is a very talented team, there is no doubt, they will be tough to beat but not impossible!  WC will give it every last ounce of their hearts, and it might not be enough, but they will leave it all on the field! "GO CATS"

The speed will be shocking I assure you. The size power and strength will be overwhelming. You will leave this game knowing you were beat! I will say this and stand by it... If by some chance you win I will congratulate you all and will cheer for John Wayne County over Dresden or Peabody.

Let me ask a question to help me better understand what your saying. Are yall better than last year, and if yes, which I doubt, how much better?

+1! No hard feelings here, been a fun week of smack talk. The only thing that will get us more fired up than football is, well nothing but our old fords and flatbottom boats is second! Now go back to watching your butler wax your Bugati!

And just like that it's Wednesday night. I'm still trying to find out what you guys have against sweater vests. Those things are awesome!

Hahaha! Wildcat, if you only knew what vehicles I have! I have an old Ford, and my son and I plan on building a flat bottom boat. I couldnt afford the tires on a Bugatti!! I like watching videos of them on youtube though. Dirt tracks, dragracing and car shows squirrel hunting and fishing are things my son and I do. As far as butler, aint that a college somewhere?

Speed-shocking, nope!  More like good!

Power & Strength- overwhelming, nope!  More like good!

WC has a few pretty strong guys also, so don't count them out!  Well ya'll already told everybody about how slow we are, so that's no secret! lol

This is just my opinion, you have yours!  I can respect that!  If NC beats us, they will have my respect, and I also will congratulate them as well!

Everyone knows about 12. 11 aint no slouch, but I guarantee, 22 is gonna bring it Friday night! He is maybe the most under rated player in 1A. He is also our leading rusher, and it aint just to give other people a break. He has been our work horse in the backfield for two years. You can see his spin move on our highlite video. He has very deceiving speed and can also run over somebody!

I've watched film, my pick would be #22 & #11 in backfield, #12 special teams guy, maybe receiver, very good open field runner! 3 of our backs, #4,#7,#20 all over 220lbs  are more muscle, less finesse runners, but they are down hill runners, and they will bring it too!  #8 is our quick shifty guy, very smart and dependable runner!  All have decent speed, not slow as some say, and # 10 may also carry the ball a few times, he can be very slippery at times, with good speed and also a good open field runner! Going to be fun to watch these two teams get after it!

    • I don't know what's going on in the town of McMinnville, but I've read this and it's disturbing.  I'm a "player" person, and I want what's best for the player. If a player gets cut off the team because she said the "F word" then good grief. I mean, come on guys. I wish there was a way for the player to transfer to a different program and just play ball. There are a lot of athletes that are stuck because they're in crappy situations regarding their team/coach. This is player just happens to be one them.
    • Won't happen. College coaches will back the coach every time and it cost this young lady her senior season. Looks like the player may be right on this one. School let her  go after one season. This stuff happens more than you think.
    • “No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team.” For language? I’m not seeing that as a dealbreaker.
    • Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.
    • I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first? The lawsuit is dealing with due process, loss of property, and defamation.   You can read the lawsuit here: https://bdnewsletter.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/doc-1-complaint-filed-4-18-2024.pdf
