With 4 district games to go it looks like position 2-5 will come down to the wire. It looks like Loretto and Frank Hughes may stay put in the standings. Collinwood/Perry County game should be a good one with PC looking for revenge and getting their coach back on the sidelines. The Summertown/Wayne Co. should be no different with WC looking to get a split on the season. Thoughts?

from what I can tell there is a lot of parity so most of the games should be tight either way.

Going forward and being a Collinwood fan I an excite about he future for the program no

matter how it pans out this year tho I think they will be very good for the next two years at least

since Wood and Hensley are sophomores and they are very dynamic players. Junior

Ashton Daniel is also quite an athlete....those three can really shoot it too.  Junior Ty Robertson

does a good job keeping the team under control and Brylie Fisher brings a lot of athletic ability

and hustle to the defense.  Not much size or depth this year Hayden Berry is the only bench player

they used against Loretto.  If the Trojans can find a couple more players heading into next

year they will be tough for anyone to beat.  Being so young they can only improve with each

game and that is what I am seeing.  Should be factor in the tournament hopefully.

It will be tough to challenge Loretto due to their size and they shoot the bell well too but who

knows...IM sure somebody will make it hard for them to get the W

Yes, also had one player hitting his chest provoking the crowd of Collinwood to come out of the stands to fight. This was a horrible show of sportsmanship. Especially since the coach was not at the game due to him being ejected from a previous game. TSSAA should possibly look into the behavior of that program

agree   no use for that in HS sports.  Do it when you are getting paid and even then it will be classless

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
