pioneer, how would you compare last year's Middleton team to this year's?  I know the one girl was hurt (UTM signee?) during the state tournament last year, and last year's tournament MVP is back this year, I think?  Did that team lose anybody else?  I really thought PC had them beat going into the 4th quarter, but Middleton really played well and pulled it out at the end by 5.

Yea the tournament MVP is back Chelsie Perry...we lost 3 starters including Deja Faulkner who was hurt last year...Averil Pledge our starting PG and Chelle Parks our other big.

Thanks for the info.  Was really impressed with the team last year, expect more of the same this year.  Hope the best teams make it to the glass house, several really strong teams from all over the state have a chance.

GC Peabody both very good teams. GC very fortunate to win a hard fought battle 47-40 in front of 2500-3000 fans. Going to be a good Region.

Great game by both teams 38-36 with 2 minutes to go and Peabody missed 2 open threes to go up 1 point and then a terrible no call by the ref under the basket cost Peabody another chance. Great game by 2 good teams clearly the best 2 teams in district 14-A. Would like to see them meet again in Region finals. Region is gonna be tough though. This Peabody team is gonna be good for several years only 1 senior. Learning pains right now. #12 , #00 and #4 are studs for this team and good supporting cast.
