Peabody vs NCS

I know you are a very smart and knowledgeable poster. I have read many of your posts and you know your stuff. I have heard too many other people on these boards point to successful programs being open zone and blasting them for it. Even from people that are fans of a school that is open zone and they didn't even know it. I grow tired of all the complaining. If open zoning was the problem then every school that was open zone would be successful. But they aren't. For every union city or Peabody there is 3 Gibson Co's.

Also adding while I'm here I'm picking ncs by a touchdown. If Peabody has a kid faster than #12 for ncs then I may be proven wrong in my choice. If ncs doesn't run bituli and McGraw at least 15 times each then they deserve to lose. They will average 5 yards a carry against the best defense even if you know what's coming. It is the coaches choice, give them the ball and pound or be done in the semi's again. Let the superstars lead you to the champioship

Yes we have more that one player who are as fast as twelve. The only way he is faster is if he runs a 4.3 but I doubt that

54 has been at NCS about 6 years and lives about 4 miles from the school. 79 and 70 both have alumni parents with association to the school since the 70's. Neither get playing time with the first string.

As for our ONE 230 plus running back, he has averaged 1 carry per game this season. And this is his 6th year at NCS.

All this to say you know not of what you speak. Just forget about it and let's play football.

Fair enough brother!I just dont like be called a liar and ignorant when the weights and #s are posted lol!!!! This isnt gonna be the game some folks think it is ,I truly think it will be low scoring, maybe 17 to 14! Hows your kicking game? I think the little things will win this 1 fellas!!!!! Aturnover either way will be the difference! And as far as Butili sorry if I mis spelled it being a D 1 recruit I watched video and think he will do well at the next level!! One thing us highschool football fanatics forget is the only thing holding some fellas back is lack of size!!!

    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
