What is the difference in best in TSSAA and best in the state?

Well obviously not every school in TN is part of the TSSAA. Hence why he made the distinction.

 

Kinda like in VA. The best team in the VHSL is probably someone from the DC metro area. But the best team in VA is Oak Hill Academy.

A- Mitchell, Union City GCA, Hampton, and Humboldt

AA - Haywood

AAA- East, Oak Ridge

Haywood is not the best in AA lost way to much

Haywood lost way too much this year to be the best in AA. Right now, I would say Martin Westview is the best in West TN with 2 D-1 signees/commits and another D-1 prospect in the sophomore class. They also have role players that understand their spot on the team.

 

Memphis East is the best team in AAA. TJ Moss and Alex Lomax are no joke and they will be around for the next few years. They also have two 6'7 kids that go with Lomax and Moss. Memphis East will win state with Penny winning his first state championship as a high school coach.

Edit: the gold team is in Mississippi. The navy team is at the Maryville heritage tournament.

East whipped us pretty bad last night. They will be hard to  beat with the football players back with the team.

Best wishes to East. They were a fine team when we played them last year. That frosh PG Lomax they had was the difference in our game. They have some great players, I just hope we can make it far enough to be able to get a chance again at them. All joking aside I do have a lot of respect for them and Memphis basketball.
