Win mr football and folks still spell his name wrong. Wynn. How many Dresden have returning on offense/defense?

We had 5 seniors on the team this year I believe. I think 4 were lineman and the other outside backer. I could be wrong but I think that's right. Heard we have a 6'7" 290lb kid coming to Dresden next year but he transferred to Dresden once already and quit the team.

I think Dresdens expectations should be as high as ever. With all the skill players back I would say they should be the favorite in this region going in, but as we saw this year it's very unpredictable between UC, Dresden, and TP. Winn is the most important player to his team in the region and as he goes Dresden will go, which based on 2015 is most often in the winners column. Unfortunately I'm afraid no matter who wins getting through NCS moving forward will be a problem. Even though they had a senior laden team, they have a way of "finding talent" if you know what I mean.

I really thought yall would play NCS in the semis, really hoping to play yall next year. I don't think our teams have ever played each other. I've said it on the other threads but next year, in my opinion, will go just like this year with the same teams beating up on each other in the playoffs only to mercy rule the east in the championship game. I know it's a long drive but would love for WC to play yall and UC in their non region games. Best of luck to yall next year, much respect for y'all's program down here in WC!

If by "finding talent" you mean having a tiny workout facility with a killer strength coach who pushes the boys to compete then yeah we find talent. Get in the weight room. You can "find" some talent too. Hope that helps.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
