Alcoa would have beaten Trezevant by 4TDs this year. Trezevant was fortunate to have beaten both Mitchell and Waverly and the Marion Co. game was a win against a team that wasn't athletically better than the majority of the teams that reached the 3A State Playoffs this past season. Liberty could very well be better than Trezevant.

I thought we were a 2A team with 4A talent. That's what people been complaining about for two years. I'm sure you know what Trezevant's situation was this year.

Liberty has plenty of talent but still fell short of beating Alcoa. Trez can hang with and beat a lot of 3A teams in the state. I just don't think they could pull off that upset. We may get our chance to see this match up next year.

Trez will have to get past Milan ( consistently good and solid) and Pearl Cohn to get a shot at Alcoa. With what Trez graduated, no guarantee they will make it past the quarter finals in 3A.
