Gbrpats, HC made our boys leave with their tail tucked between their legs last year. A well deserved butt kicking. Hope Gallatin can remember how that felt

I agree with that. I think that game exposed a lot of weaknesses last year that other teams exploited. Hopefully the turnoveritis will not rear its head this year.

I was more than surprised by last years result. We just had an incredible d-line and linebackers. This year we are very young on defense but our offense returns a lot of key guys. Both our Rb's are currently recovering from injuries but expect both to be back by then. Our QB is in my opinion pretty special at times. Look forward to the season can't wait.

We knew coming in that the Patriot defense was going to be tough. It was more than tough once the game started! Henry Co tried to help us out giving up those fumbles early but we repaid them back plus some. I have never seen a Gallatin team come that unravelled and become that inept. I think we had 7 turnovers and it became comical at times. Funny thing is the stats do not reflect it being that one sided. Gallatin continued to be a giver for most of the year. Hopefully this year will be quite different. Henry Co should keep everybody focused come mid season. Lots of wrongs to try and set right but lots of tough games before that one.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
