Who Are the Best Teams in East TN?

Is this topic still about the best teams in East TN? Anyone have a change of heart after district tournaments? I'll go with this:

 

1. Morristown West

2. Elizabethton

3. South Greene

4. McMinn Central

5. William Blount

6. Bearden

7. Bradley Central

8. Hardin Valley

9. Union County

10. Gatinburg Pittman

I'd have Bearden ahead of WB based on their 3-0 record against the Lady Govs this season. WB did outplay Bearden in district tournament championship but couldn't finish. I would also put Bearden and WB ahead of McMinn Central.

I would only have Elizabethton and Mo West ahead of Bearden and those 3 are very close. SG should be behind MC and WB.

Although I wouldn't be shocked at all to see William Blount where Oak Ridge is.

How does everyone have mcminn central ahead of William Blount. William Blount best them head to head on a nuetral court. Also Oak Ridge hasn't played the schedule William Blount has. Which should help William Blount tonight

I have Oak Ridge ahead of Willie B....Oak Ridge has gotten 0 respect all year...but here we are waiting to play for the Region 2 AAA Championship. Maybe a bit of respect now???? WB's girls played tough & had some of the best sportsmanship that I have seen all year , so props to WB on that.  Now let's hear again how OR isn't going to go anywhere due to their schedule.

That's easily fixed, play where you are (fixed that for you) zoned PERIOD!!!!!! I understand hardship cases but that should be on a need basis only. TSSAA should step up and police it.

There are thousands of kids in the state per the TSSAA that legally attend a school out of their zone. Others do it illegally. The TSSAA cannot police everything and you know it. They simply do not have the resources.

 

You seem to be bitter about private schools, perceived inequalities, and teams that are really good? It's just HS basketball man. Your belly-aching won't change anything. There are many good teams to support and be positive about including your own. Just enjoy it.

oak ridge plays no one. Their record is very deceiving because of how weak their conference is. If I'm not mistaken they did same thing last year and exited early in post season.

I'm sorry ...could you please point out where I said A SINGLE WORD negative about Oak Ridge? The Lady Wildcats played a great ballgame. I hope they continue to play well on Wednesday.
