WC, Huntingdon, and Bruceton are in the playoffs. The game next week between McEwen and C'wood will be a must win for both. I'll update the standings after Friday nights games.

I think with winning bruceton is guaranteed a spot in the play offs, the 4th spot is still open and the next games determine seeding

collinwood is out, they needed a region road win and couldnt get it losing twice in OT.  However, last year those two beat them in collinwood by something like 100 to 7 so the improvement in the trojans is obvious and with only three seniors starting on both sides of the ball its a good time to be a trojan fan...really great game last night btw

C'wood can still finish 4th with a win over McEwen next week. I'm going to assume that WC beats McEwen tonight.

Both would still be tied with records of C'wood (5-3, 2-3),

McEwen (5-3, 2-3).

It looks like McEwen vs Collinwood next week is going to be for a berth in the TSSAA State Playoffs. The winner will get the prize of traveling to Nashville Christian come playoff time.

Wayne County (8-0, 5-0)

Huntingdon (6-1, 5-0)

Bruceton (5-3, 4-1)

Collinwood (5-3, 2-3)

McEwen (5-3, 2-3)

Perry County (2-6, 1-4)

Clarksville academy (1-6, 1-4)

Houston County (0-8, 0-5)

 

WC, Huntingdon, and Bruceton are in the playoffs. The game between C'wood and McEwen will decide who the last team in will be. The game between WC and Huntingdon will again, for the second year, be for the region championship.

wrong....CA will beat Houston and PC which will give them the same region record as collinwood except they beat collinwood and therefore get the head to head and off to the playoffs...this is even if Collinwood beats McEwen

Cwood going to have hands full with McEwen, they are better than I thought they was.

It's all hypothetical since the games haven't been played and lots of things could happen. We can only speculate even this far into the season. But what if, C'wood beat McEwen and Clarksville academy won out? Do you think McEwen can beat Perry Co? I do. So, you look at it that way and get back to me.... You will then see why the C'wood vs McEwen game is the deciding factor for the last team in.

 

I'll give a hint though, 3 way tie....
