Great job to 8AA players and coaches for getting the sweep!

 

These four teams left have all beat each other at some point this year. Tuesday nights games should be some good ones! Very tough to pick a winner, but I'm going with the under dogs, Smith County and York in the finals.

 

York is a very good possibility but upperman is playing like to much to handle

Once you get to this point and you possibly play for the 4th time what happened before just doesn't have as much to do with the out come in my opinion. Now were talking loose and go home it bring a whole new level to it. Good luck to all four teams.

Agreed! I think smith and upperman is probably the best 2 in the region. Like you said its all different now and do or die! But tomorrow will tell us who the best is. Good luck all 4!

It's not like MC has been playing bad lately, Where's the love? They dominated York the last time they matched up and was a BS hand check foul from going to OT with Upperman for the district title. Also, had a 20+ point lead the majority of the game against Sequatchie.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
