UCPrepShowcase
Both these teams are high scoring, high ranked offenses.... What say ye?

Basketball2015
It is showing 7 girls on Pickett's roster on CoachT? Is that true?
Swipes
I'm taking SG in this one. The have played a tougher schedule and have been playing great D to go along with there Offense. It seems like a different player has been leading them in scoring each game so it's hard to key on anyone. The scary thing is they only have one junior and the rest of the team is sophomore and freshman, so they will be good for years to come. King21
Only comparison I can make is that Pickett thumped Livingston twice, who lost two Pittman by three, who South Greene beat by one at home. That being said, may be one of the best match-ups in the first round in any class. BUT, Pickett played a pretty good schedule, too. I'm sure SG is pretty talented or they would not be in the position they are in. However, I have to go with Pickett. Can play nine kids without losing a lot on either end of the floor. It'll be interesting. It's a hard gym to shoot in initially, and I am not sure who that favors there, either.
pioneer42
Just saying South Green got a bad draw and Pickett County got a bad draw. Both real good teams. Based on what I seen last year South Green may be stronger in the paint and Pickett County might be better on the perimeter. If someone put a gun to my head I would probably take Pickett County based on their resume this year. But this one is a tough one. Both of these teams are good enough to win it all. I don't like comparing who beat who by more point because I could make a Daniel Boone argument since they beat yall by 10 but it's pointless to go around in circles. They also beat Pittman by 11 at their place later in the year, beat Grainger twice who is in the glass house in AA and 3 of their 4 losses come against Morristown West who also will be there in AAA. Coach T has SG schedule at 5 and Pickett Co at 51. Should be the best first round game in A. SG returns some starters from last year team that lost in the semis by 1 to Middleton so I think they will be ready. A pretty cool stat too this will be SG 28th time to the glass house. More than any other program for any classification in the state for womans basketball Edited March 6, 2016 by Swipes

I'd say we will have to wait until Wednesday to find out as anything else will just be a guess. The two teams sound a lot alike. I will say that South Greene only lost to Middleton by one last year, after leading much of the game, and are stronger this year. More than any other program for any classification in the state for womans basketball I didn't thump anyone, as that would probably be illegal. BUT, yes. There are schedule comparisons. Just was pointing that out.
