Who are the Top 5 players in the State Regardless of Class?

Recommended Posts

That kid at A Maceo Walker is a grown man he's like 6'4 225 in the 8th grade lol he's built like a linebacker. Word is Whitehaven is getting a few of the top middle school guys next year, at least 4. coach Phillips has been coaching those boys on the AAU circuit for years now and the parents love his philosophy. They will challenge some teams next year as freshman just like East did last year, but they will for sure be vying for trips to Murfeesboro in 2018. Its along way away i know but im a fan of both levels and sorry for getting off topic of the thread lol

I'm 6'4 310lbs and I was a little scared of that kid when they walked in the door. A Maceo Walker had the big kid and another tall lanky kid. I'm sure Phillips will start pulling kids over to Whitehaven real soon. I mean more than he already has.

That's tough..hard to say but my list would probably consist of mostly seniors..Hoover, Dupree,  Darrell Brown Jr, Antonio Reed and the 5th, I would give some more thought to. You could make a list and 2 names would more than likely always be on there but the others could change for virtually everyone who has an opinion lol.

I like that answer.  There are a lot of players that could be on this list.  At least 10-12 that could all fight for consideration.

Jonathan Bins, Carlos Marshall, Mark Freeman, the kid at Houston #22, Lucky Cheatham, Tyler Harris, heck Rodney Williams is gonna play college football and many coaches would love to have him on their team.

The talent flows very freely in Memphis and all the kids I just mentioned are in 15 AAA.

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
