Woodward deserves the job in Bear Land. I really think Buddy is happy where he is at. New leadership should help right the ship in Bear Land. 

He deserves the job! How do you figure that?.....................HE LEFT!

He dropped his old girlfriend for a prettier prom date, and she dropped him. Now he wants to snuggle back up his old babe.

Coaches constantly preach team loyalty.............Mr Woodard will come up a bit short in this department as far as Antioch is concerned in my opinion. I would look elsewhere.

If Lopez did interview it surprises me in that he is loyal to Clayton. However, Clayton won't be at Hillsboro long and it's not the same school as when they were hired. Schrader is no longer there. Lo

I'm not sure who applied but it really doesn't matter. The best man and coach for the job applied. Now it's up to the powers that be to not mess it up.

I think a lot will apply for this job. There is no where to go but up. The facilities are pretty good, the support will be good, the pay is good, and the kids are good. I'm sure some applications will come from out of state, they usually do. I don't think race matters and in my opinion it never should. Get the best coach to do the job.

I agree.. Win two or three games and you look like a genius.. The athletes are there, just gotta get them to your school.. I think fresh blood could do that.. The old coach Hall was in over his head from day 1

Loyalty of Woodward, question, you should not. Strong the fork is with Woodward. Fled, he did, enviroment engulfed by the dark side.

Yep, and the old babe is ready for him to come back...her last two dates have been awful!

Its time for Metro to give some of there young coordinators around the city a chance like Damien Harris at Pearl Cohn and Dustin Lopez at Hillsboro two bright young coaches in this city that the kids in there program love instead of recycling the same coaches it's time for some new blood in Metro to bring life back into these programs and I believe either one of those to can keep Antioch kids in Antioch to play for there zone school and make it a legit program again.

By the way firebird I would not call Woodward recycling. He's a great young coach. Still a top coach to lead the bears. The last several coaches named in metro were also not recycled. Hall at Antioch, woods at CR, Williams at Overton, Gore at Mcgavock, the guy at WC, and Clayton at Hillsboro. In fact the only metro teams to have a recycled coach that I am aware of are Stratford and Maplewood.

      The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??

      If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!

      Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
