First time in our school history that both the football team and basketball team have made the state semifinals in the same year.  A great accomplishment for our student athletes.

Some of you all must have watched a different game I watch a game that was tied at halftime

Watch a game we had a lot of unforced turnovers

Warched a game where we give a lot of wide open layup

And still only lost by what? 15? and our best players were not on.

So not sure we're so inferior.

Proud of our subs too!!

1st five minutes of the 2ond half doomed us.  Next year should be interesting.

Hampton gave us one of the biggest scares this year. I hate for the refs to out shine the players.

Galilee, you are correct! I apologize for forgetting to text you. I would like to have chatted a bit with u.

I have no sour grapes, but this version of MM basketball is sure different than when you ran things.

You could have added that unwarranted foul calls on #'s 15 and 4 had them on the bench for a lot of the first half. Ref's were not good all day...that is the only thing "consistent" about the calling. Very obvious over the back on one end with no call, then a phantom foul on the other when #4 picked up his third. I don't think that Hampton wins 5 if they play 10 with Mitchell, but they weren't an "inferior" team. Class kids and fans...had the pleasure of sitting with some of the administration, am now a Hampton fan myself...best of luck in the future, y'all should be back soon.

Two players should have been fouled out for riding #4.

If any team has a player that can stop #4, then great....But for refs to do it was crap.

Last years team had been together 4 years and grace been on that stage before. Their sophomore year then were as this team this year. These boys off the most part has never played at all. We only returned 9 total points from last years state tournament. They will get better but besides during a lot of celebrating they were OK. Remember this is their first time on this stage. Coach Turner has done an amazing job with this group. As he continues he will continue to put his stamp and requirements on the program. Road is his first year on the job..

I was referring to the taunting and talking...Not that we can't handle it, nor did it affect us...it's just unlike MM teams I've experienced in the past

      If he’s the best option that isn’t good. I heard he couldn’t even get the qb to play baseball this year.  kids aren’t coming out for him either he’s in the same boat. But it’s trousdale county and it’s just baseball. You can win one game a year same goes for basketball no one will even kno or talk about it. Just like up here on the hill basketball is the more serious thing in my books if you start losing there’s usually some change..

      I live in Macon and watched both but I’ll take up for satterfield on this one look at the dudes he has these 2 years compared to the others don’t forget we barely even scored on them there for awhile when he started coaching there just look at 2018 on   If you give him athletes to play with he’s a dangerous d c.

      I don’t know how Huntingdon did vs Creekwood varsity today but I did hear the Huntingdon middle school girls beat Creekwood and Westview JV teams by 30 both games today.
