I would love to see UC and my Cards play again, its been years since they last played varsity, I think it was early 1990's

Hopefully we can make this happen. As fallguy said, we tried but couldn't get schedules to work out. I truly want this to happen. It seems to me that there is a slight contention that we are dodging Mayfield. Nope. I'm certain both schools would benefit greatly from ticket sales alone. Mayfield has a great and rich tradition, and so does UC. Who wouldn't want to see this match up.

I was told that we inquired and UC told our people that they wanted to wait until their streak was over and once that happened I was told that UC and Mayfield did talk but there was no workable date between the 2 schedules but both would try to work out a future game.  The feeling here among some is that UC is dodging but you know fans.

Jury still out, mums the word. All knew lines both sides. Got to see how all gell. Have not faced any speed in both scrimmages so don't know yet.

Not dodging. We're in a 9 team region. So we have to play 8 region games, no way around it. With only two non-region games to schedule, it's extremely difficult.

Show this thread to the coaches there and then maybe they will work the schedule out. Because, the fact that we can't get these 2 on the same field with their recent successes is crazy.

I can guarantee Coach Bowling will not look at Coach T for anything. He don't let any outside influence into his thinking. Told me so himself. So showing him this thread would not have any effect.

Put it on a sign in his front yard. No need to avoid us. It doesn't count as anything other than a 1 in the L or W column of their record. The gate would be tremendous. Especially if they do it on a Saturday.
