So Science Hill, Bearden and Soddy did not make the cut.

No dog in this race, but Science Hill barely squeaked by a horrendous Crockett team.

Don't worry.  Bearden will be there soon enough.  They are very strong, even if they did just get trounced by Maryville.  It's going to be a horse race in the district. Remember, tho--Farragut did compete for state title last year, and the year before and won, and the year before...get the drift?

I saw this an I wonder why they are even doing is. Football is a different story because they play only once a week, enough time for these media people to compare apples to oranges and see which team is better. However, baseball is a different story. Playing 4-5 games a week. Obviously some teams will cough up a game on a Thursday or a Friday because they probably don't have the best pitcher available. This is pointless and absurd. Don't even look at them and focus on your district/area. It's baseball! WIN SOME! LOSE SOME!!
