Shelton played his whole team the whole game. SS played a pretty good game from top to bottom. Fuller cleared the bench and they played well also. I got SS winning after seeing them against FW last week. Jackson is a good player but he's not the same without the cast he had last year. He looks to be over doing it right now.

You confusing me, first post you said FW will win the District then you turn around and say Southside will the district because Jackson supporting cast isn't what it was last year. SS supporting cast isn't what it was last year neither. But it will come down this year to if FW can stop Rose, if they can't stop Rose SS will beat them again.

Current district standings:

Lex 3-0

FW 2-1

SS 2-1

Bolivar 1-2

Chester 1-2

McNairy 0-3

I think the biggest surprise is McNairy 0-3 right now and Lexington 3-0. Can McNairy change it around and can Lex keep it going?

Will SS or FW surpass Lexington and take over the top spot?

What seed will Chester finish the year out with?

Is Bolivar the most up and down team in the District?

I think FW didn't play well against Chester.

Lexington, Fayette Ware and Southside will battle it out for first with the other 2 being in the bad situation of being in each others bracket

District consolation game however will be huge, would rather be in 3rd and in bracket with 14AA #1 seed than in with Dyersburg,

Chester, Bolivar and McNairy aren't very good.  One of them will finish 4th and probably travel to Dyersburg where they will get pounded.

McNairy is a big surprise at 0-3. They are much better than they are playing. I think they get it together and start winning some district games.

Bolivar may be the most athletic team in this district. They have a. Janice to make a run if they start making plays

SS probably has the best bigs in the district and if they get guys making perimeter shots they will be very hard to beat

Lexington rebuilt last year after a region championship and played mostly under classman the second half of the year. They are much better than most people Think.

Chester plays so hard! They are fundamentally sound and getting better even though they took a tough L the other night at SS. They are not going to go away!

FW has the best player in the district and if he gets a couple guys making plays around him then FW may just win the District.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
