Oak Ridge vs. Clinton Wk. 1

Does Tee play Defense if so that will be good for Clinton if he dont play. Anybody going to watch the AC Greenville game Friday? Not to hijack this thread but AC has a killer schedule First 4 games Greenville, Heritage, Fulton and Oak Ridge then throw in Catholic, Central, Carter, Clinton...lol Ill be watching this game from home goodluck to both teams.

Coach Kerr has ran the Clinton program into the ground. We will not have another winning season until he is replaced. I can name at least 15 boys that have talent but refuse to play for him. He shows a lot of favoritism and has never stood behind anything he has ever said. I see it everyday. They (the team) have no respect for him.

I agree with everything dragonlady said! It makes me sick to my stomach to see what he has done to the program. Wait and see for yourselves on tv tomorrow night.

Kerr said in the football preview article in today's courier that some of the linemen will play both ways. That we have no depth. That's funny because he has plenty of boys to rotate in, he just doesn't know how to rotate. Not to mention the JV line didn't look to bad the other night.

The Clinton "Program" hasn't been in existence since Gaylor left. The problem with Clinton is they are a "Good ole Boy" kind of of town that lets their politics get in the way when they hire football coaches. Until they go out and get someone that is truly invested in the program and isn't put there by politics and actually has earned the job, they will never have a great program. AC's and OR's programs are so much better due to the kids coming first and the administration caring about the kids. I love that school, its time that there administration cares more about what's best for the kids and less what is best in the eyes of certain politicians.

I said that last knowing how good Clinton was for the 2 years stone and Hazlehurst were here.......ANYBODY with any kind of coaching experience could have coached that team and taken them farther.

Hate to say, but when the Clinton administration hired Kerr over Scotty Herrell I kinda thought to myself at the time that will come back and bite them in the proverbial a%& and it has. Hire a AC guy over a former star Dragon? Really?! Kerr got there on the coat tails of his daddy. The situation there reminds me a lot of the Dooley ordeal a few years back @ UT. Neither Derek or Josh would've gotten those two jobs if not for daddy. Neither one had proven squat. I mean Scotty really hadn't either, but if you are going to give the job to an unproven guy at least give it to the Clinton boy Herrell. Just my 2 cents.

Is there a new or different Oak Ridge football website?  OakRidgefootball.net still has last years senior picture and nothing has been updated? Where is Joe show being filmed and is it channel 15 at 8 o'clock?
