Did the kid who left for East Nashville put that much of a hurt on the runningbacks? Raines is a top playmaker on film. Last year he was a difference maker.

Not the least bit! I was never a fan of him, he reminded me of NFL running back Trent Richardson which is no compliment, lacked speed, cuts, vision, just used pure force to gain yards. Hopefully this will give one of the backups a chance to showcase some upside at the position.

Kind of surprised by the outlook seeing how MJ has fielded several really good 9th grade squads in recent years. In fact Gallatin gets a shot at one later this evening.

Only one more night until February that we won't have football. I can't wait!

I will say this much, I've been very critical on MJ football lately, however TP will have the boys ready to win. This season is definitely our best chance to bring MJ back to where it once was. if all else fails, just beat Lebanon and Wilson Central 8 years in a row!
