Actually you should check to see if the eighth grader is eligible academically to be in the 9th grade and that should lead you to understand what schools he attended previously and that he repeated the 8th grade.  And that should lead to checking other things as well. 

 

Catholic is at fault for not validating all this. 

 

Don't they have academic requirements like all other private schools do or do they let anyone in that has the money to pay for attending?

I will just say that this would not be the first time an incoming 9th grader has played 2 years in 8th grade and played 4 years of varsity football.

Totally classless post. First, he couldn't have failed at Catholic since he is an incoming freshman. Catholic self reported the issue so you can't hang the blame on Fulton. It looks like the Irish relied on parent supplied info without verifying all the facts. It is a shame that a player of miniscule contribution to the game would have a negative impact on the Irish season.
