Basically our whole team was cramping in the 2nd half (not sure what is going on there), so I'm just glad we could come out with the win. Our guys had to dig deep to overcome all the cramping, which was most of our stars, including Graham and Tee.

I agree about the cramping for OR, at one time there were 4 players down at the same time. That is on the coaching/training staff. I hate to see a young man get injured no matter who they play for.

It was ridiculous. They interviewed our star LB after the game and he said he drank 2 gallons of water before the game, so who knows? All I know was it hurt our team a lot, because we had to keep subbing in a lot of players with a lot less experience, mainly on D. Tee didn't get to play a lot of defense because of it, which hurt us a lot. He's just as important on D, if not more than he is on offense.

They were reporting 8 turnovers all night last night. But boy, "only" 6 turnovers. That's nothing compared to 8. LoL!

Ha! Still a lot either way. Honestly though I can't blame the coaches for all of them. The kids have to hold onto the ball. Easy to blame the coaches there, but they aren't the ones throwing, catching, and running the ball. Gotta tuck that sucker in.

Not so much the high school coaches as the little league and middle school coaches in Kingsport. Thats where the kids are suppose to learn the fundamentals. There's to many egos and politics in Kingsport to fix it.

Honestly waco, I just didn't see the athletes out there for DB that I'm used to seeing them have, even last year with the Rodgers kid. Y'all have no breakaway threat, so we were just content to sit back and let y'all pass on us all night and to just keep your guys in front of us. Y'all just don't have any quick strike ability to be honest. Still have some good players, but not just that breakout thread like an Adonis Johnson or guys you've had in the past. I think the HS coaches are doing pretty good with what they have to work with. The QB is one of the best I've seen. He's impressive. Can run and complete passes all over the field.

I may not know a lot about football but I do know Tee is a VERY special player that we are all blessed to witness.

My guess is the guy unimpressed with Tee is a sorry excuse for a Tennessee Vol fan. I like UT fans, my in-laws are huge Vol fans but some live to just hate anybody not in orange and white.

I will repeat what I said when Tee picked Clemson over the Vols....Let them hate, while we win state.

Hopefully Butch will get him to change his commitment from Clemson to Tennessee. He shouldn't stop trying until National Signing Day

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
