White County High School now reporting that they will play the football game this Friday against Rhea County. Kickoff is 8pm eastern which means we go on the air at 7:30.

White County has a football team? Just kidding White Co fans, don't jump me! Just so used to White Co having a great basketball program, so you kinda forget they play football there, too! Best wishes to both teams, but I see Rhea taking this one. I hope us and Rhea get to hook up again! Great atmosphere last time.

Most of the posts are from the report from the one news channel, I believe in Nashville that was put out there very early this morning.   The local news here picked it up but later removed it and have stated the game has not been canceled.

 

This is sad for the community and the athletes. Unfortunately some end up punishing and putting labels on all due to the actions of a few.
