Hopefully we can get the field back in shape. It is chewed up pretty good. Also intense if we are doing a tent for the boys from adamsville to cook I need to break out my specialty. Chitterlings Yes we have some good ole country boys over here in the sweater vest.

cardfan, I guess you skipped English class. McNairy may not win, but the Bobcats play by the rules. How many transfers do the Cardinals have on their team?  Your top three tailbacks are all transfers. I guess they just happened to all decide to move to Adamsville.

While I personally don't mind some smack talk about Adamsville from time to time, I try to keep it in reference to our game with them.  I realize you may have some issues with the folks in Adamsville, but this thread it not the place for it.  This thread is about the Adamsville at TCA game this coming Friday night.  Please respect that.  Thanks.

In reference to the game, I fully expect an SRO crowd.  I hope the folks from Adamsville come hungry as our concession stand has great BBQ nachos and sammiches.  They even featured slabs of BBQ ribs for sale during our week 2 contest.  Sure hope that trend continues cause they looked outstanding and I want to snag some of them.

Hoping that our offensive and defensive line gets some of our depth back as one starter is tentatively slated to return for this game.  I know he is chomping at the bit.  TCA will have to control the ball and time of possession.  While I love a quick strike offense, we need to chew up clock.  It's not the time of the year to get away with the helter skelter type game. We have more balance running the ball this year than in years past.  That can work to our favor. While Adamsville lost a star running back to injury, they sure seem to have simply reloaded with the kid from Savannah.  The Ville has a not flashy but solid QB who is very serviceable.  It could be a close game that can go either way....it could be a blow out.  These are just young kids.  Mostly hoping for an injury free game.  As always, the winner of this game is in the Region 6 drivers seat.  Too bad this game falls so early in the season.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
