There are three people vying for the lead in BGIM. Myself, dannyq, and olddevil. There are others nipping on our heels. Some folks have some ground to make up. (cough*BHS*cough) ... :flower: What better way then to have another week of BGIM with 19 games to select. Remember ... there is a Thursday game. We are starting to see district games being played, especially in 6A. These games matter, even at the third game of the season.

Better late then never. Welcome aboard Dragonmaster to BGIM, where the prognosticating fun never ceases ... well, not until the season is over, but, you get the gist.

Just out of curiosity, what school do you represent/belong to/are a fan of?

Ahhhh ... never mind, I saw the ... cough* "tough for me but"  cough* comment. So Collierville it is! Now the coacht moniker makes a whole lot of sense to me right about now. Welcome indeed.

K-Dub,

I feel like you put these West Tenn games on here to bring in more West Tenn participants but these folks don't mess with BGIM enough in my humble opinion to be given the consideration. What I mean is they are not willing to give any analysis on the players or teams... If I still had the chance to watch games from Whitehaven and other schools (via film study) I'd make my post so much more entertaining however I can't see anything beyond "hi-lights" and youtube clips... That said, I need the West Tenn folks to give some insight if they got any. If they can't give any I say leave these teams that are in Nowhereville off the list if they aren't playing a Shelby Co./Memphis Metro area school.

:motorbike: Now on to my picks. I'm catching up this week jack!  :popcorneater:

First, you had issues with the small privates. (Leave the puns alone ...  ) Now you are taking issue with the West TN schools. I think they are close enough to the city be relevant. Besides ... they make you squirm ... LOL, that's enough for me! ...  :flower:

I am realizing the small privates aren't worth the trouble but the I have been on other boards on here and West Tennessee folks do a lot of talking among each other but they never rap with us... I want some insight darn it lol

Lol I normally just wing it off tradition and record. That obviously doesn't work early in the season and with unfamiliar teams...

I know because don't nobody know what to do with Overton! Nor Southwind or Central for that matter!

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
