Humboldt at Peabody

Union City played their starters the entire game. Peabody had 265 first half yards on the best defense in the region, if it hadn't been for mistake a young team makes they should probably of scored 35. So you're telling me you think Humboldt can hold Peabody to 14? I believe you're sadly mistaken.

Humboldt has a good defense like i said giving up only 14 in the first half against a good Milan football team i thought was pretty darn good as well. Good luck to both teams.

 

I knew when i saw Peabody rolled up 650 yards on Union City those stats were wrong lol!

Well, the game is tomorrow so time will tell who wins this game but I'm taking my Vikes by seven (7) & like I said early fourteen (14) if we cut down mistakes! Like BigSwo said, " this is a Humboldt/Trenton thread so we can throw out what happen the first three (3) games & settle it tomorrow night"!

I've now seen both play, Trenton will beat Dresden by 10 points and give Dresden their loss #1 so far.  Trenton has a big, strong line and a balanced offense.

Whoa not so fast. We will compete but win by ten is a stretch but anythings possible. Thats why they play the game.

That  was  the   night,  when   that   bad    storm  came . bad  field   conditions     how  they humboldt  held  milan  to   14  points 2nd  half  .   if  was  a  dry  field ,  the  bulldogs  would  have  beat  the   breaks  off  them like   they   did   us.

Both teams had to play on a wet field. Humboldt played Milan very well. I don't think Milan would beat us quite as bad if given the chance again. We are much improved. We grew up in the second half of the UC game. I actually think Humboldt played better in the Milan game. I think they overlooked us because of our prior losses

Trenton and Milan are historically a big rivalry. In recent memory the Humboldt Milan game hasn't been a good one. I think it was a matter of maybe Milan not playing as hard as they did before.
