Beech @ Gallatin

Any not making excuses but did anyone else see the 12 men in the huddle on a key 3rd down for beech that was not called with a minute left

Another nice win for the Bucs. Pretty typical game for them this year. Not the biggest or the fastest, but just find a way to wear the other team down and get the win. Mason is really good, but I've never seen a team more dependent on one man.

No excuse but everybody around me saw that too. Beech did what they had to do, chew up clock and keep getting those yards.

If you are referring to Beech in 2012, there was never a game where Hurd had every carry from scrimmage except 2 for an entire game.

Don't forget in 12 the QB went 13-14 to pull out a late win against Wilson Central. Hurd only had around 100 yds in that game.

In 09' Gallatin won the regular season game and I didn't think Beech should have been in game with us. I noticed when we were leaving how Beech was convinced they should have won. Tonight I feel those roles were reversed. Beech won and deservedly so. But I will forever be convinced that Gallatin should have won. As said earlier it was a shame one of these teams had to lose.

Beech felt like they should have won because the game was 7 - 0 and a young fullback for the Bucs fumbled on the 1 inch line going in (I won't argue he was in because it's a moot point).

 

But I understand what you mean. I am not looking forward to the possibility they will meet again.

No but he had 40 carries a few times. If you have a horse feed him!!

Listen I understand your argument however you have seen one game. The QB did not get 500+ yards in the air by throwing only once or twice a game. Gallatin had a few drops last night. Hey take nothing away from Beech. They played a good game and through a workman attitude pulled out a win. I don't think there is much different between these 2 teams.

I agree. And you're right, I've only seen them play once, but you've got to have a little variety. Anyway, hats off to the Green Wave. Always fun to come to the Wave Yard, although I think the rain and tv kept the crowd down a little. Honestly believe Gallatin could win out and be a beast in post season.
