Winn played very little. Our defense scored most points until running clock time. Offense had a total of 12 plays for Lions. Many of those were by reserve players. And Dresser is fine. 3 of 3 w/ 2 TD's. No issues there with his injury. Sadly the BTW player that was hurt had to be sent to hospital w/ broken rib(s), prayers are with him, team, & family. 46-8 final. Warriors played super hard. They have no quit in them. Nice to see that. Played clean, with sportsmanship, plenty of heart. Good luck to warriors in other sports. Dresden plays Trenton here next week. Will be awesome rematch.

Let me just say that Booker T has a fine group of young men representing them on the football field. They gave 100% every down then joined Dresden boys on the field afterwards making small talk & congratulating our boys. They were true class acts. Prayers going up for the player that got hurt tonight.

I wish Booker T parents & coaches could see all the complimentary posts on social media about your players. Those 14-15 players will go far in life because of their attitudes & approach to adversity. Props to Dresden fans, players, coaches & QB Club for stepping in & supporting the opposing team last night & treating them with great hospitality. Shows you that sometimes football is much bigger than the game.

Not the thoughts of all Dresden fans. Few years back we played Mitchell and heard the same stuff. After the game I asked my son about it and he said the players were all good guys. He was pretty nervous hearing all the other junk before the game.

That was actually Westwood, and the coaches told the players to keep their helmets on while shaking hands, to get dressed in their casual clothes ASAP and to get on the bus. This was probably a response to the fact they attempted several dirty hits on our players and even made some very serious threats to our players during the game. They were also yelling some ridiculous things to our players during pregame, and one of our coaches even responded (which he shouldn't have done). I doubt you know the majority opinion, Yso. How can you know such a random thing? Ask the 04' team what happened when they went down to Memphis and played G.W. Carver in the playoffs. 😂😆 Lol, I rest my case on that one. Senator, there's no need for the crying. These are just two examples. They're not "unfounded." You just can't handle the truth, get over it. I will say BTW was very professional, but that's more of the exception than the rule. Come on, Senator. Why are you surprised a school in a criminally-infested area would play dirty? Facts don't care about your feelings. I'm just being honest and refuse to apologize for it.

"more of the exception than the rule" tells me all I need to know about you. You don't know anything about Memphis if you think this ignorant statement is true.

Every time I read an article on TSSAA player suspensions, there's always multiple inner-city kids suspended. You live in a fantasyland bubble. What's next? Would you be surprised if an inner-city Detroit school had dirty players?

Not disputing the fact that we have a couple of bad apple's sprinkled but to say one good sportsmanship game is an exception is ridiculous.

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
