Haters come when you win a couple of gold balls. Folks like these are why I don't post on here much anymore. As far as I know, both of yall's teams have seen their season come to an end as well.

Frustrating season, but we return a ton next year. Realignment should have us in a much easier district and allow us to hopefully fill out a challenging non-region slate. I know what the HC standard is in some fans' minds, but these boys have nothing to hang their head about. 2017 will be here before you know it.

They got beat for the second time this year by 5-5 Ravenwood. Said they had a matchup problem. I told them Hillary Clinton had a matchup problem, Mount Juliet just got plain ol' tooled.

Oh that post was in response to a Gallatin fan, who got ousted in the 1st round last week yet still has a fan on here talking trash for some reason.

I guess you're just a troll magnet, Facts. Or should I say Casper the Factual Ghost.

I will sleep tight and cozy. Hopefully we get to see you all again next year. Lord knows we'll be looking for games...

Hope it does get rescheduled. But please, if it is, bring more fans to GHS next time it's played here. Was suprised that such a big fansbase school would bring such a bad crowd. Need to sell more tickets with our metro teams layed out in our region. Edited by thegreatone36

Centennial wins 21-0.  Credit to HC's D but that offense could play 'til tomorrow night and still get shut out.

82 total yards for HC.  I knew it was bad but didn't realize just how bad.

Just as it has done all season, the Cougars’ defense was dominant. They allowed Henry County to gain just 82 yards of total offense and improved on their 110-yard-per-game average of passing yards going into Friday by giving up just 11 yards through the air.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
