O&b here's my take on the game, for coalfield to have a chance at this game and they do have a chance they will have to come up with some negative yardage played on first down and force gb to throw the ball on some 2nd and long situations to force some punts. The offense will have to keep the chains moving and keep the ball away from Roberts. If they can come up with some stops it is possible. Easier said than done though. Gb is a great team that has my respect but cf is a tough hard nosed bunch that never fails to surprise me come November. That being said it will take one heck of an effort by coalfield to even these records up at 12-1. Any given Friday!

Good post sloth!GB needs to score first,if we don't and Coalfield gets in their comfort zone with the short pass and McKinney run then we will be in trouble.I don't think Coalfield can even come close if they have to stick to the run game but if we let McKinney hit the short pass or break contain and don't cover the cutback lanes well we will have a ballgame and the last team scoring may win! Bet we score quick, fast and a hurry...an repeat.

Been sitting back and watching this thread. Not much talk for such a huge game for both teams. I underestimated this Greenback football team's coaching staff. They've passed the test from my perspective. I have been a bit hard on Greenback's Kayne Roberts. I just calls it the way I sees it. He is a great back. I just have a problem with his antics. I believe this Greenback team is the one from the East to get a state championship. Coalfield seems to playing good football, but they will be hard pressed to stop the Kayne Train Bringing the Pain. Greenback 42-20.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
