I'm not jealous. I've stated several times both of these kids are very good Class A players, but they get away with too much dirty play, too much yapping. That falls on the coaches.

The boys had to adjust to our style at GB and they have.Very proud to have them as Cherokees!I will always have the backs of the ones who carry on the traditions that myself as some of the other posters(Gbnation,GFD,GHSblackhelmet,muskox,etc) worked hard for so many years ago.

I think you got that wrong. I think Greenback had to adjust to their style and the way they operate.   Those kids have gotten by with a  lot that most at most other schools wouldn't.

I had a really interesting conversation with a good friend of mine that lives in Madisonville. He said it was common knowledge that the offensive coach at Sequoyah was brought in to lure Roberts. He said that was the only reason Greenback brought him there. Any Greenback fans care to verify this?

I'm the only one of the Roberts' family that gets on here but, I don't have to hype my kid up the media and press does enough of that. You are the main guy that likes to get in here bashing him. Not sure what your problem is. Beginning to think you were on staff at Sequoyah when he decided to transfer.

Just a story that adds to the build up and hype to the biggest game off the year. Sounds like this one has legs.

That's funny the offensive Coach at Sequoyah was Coach Ryan who played qb for Greenback in the early 90's and started at ETSU for 4 years . His whole family is from GB and he coached at GB before becoming Co Head coach.
