CU06
Assuming there are spots open, who, if any, will Lamar bring with him?
oridgecat
I have heard he is bringing 3 with him. And there are two openings that match their certifications and will have to work something out for the third. Which is quite possible, as soon as staffing numbers for next year become final. sometimes a school will be granted another position or lose a position. Sometimes more than one. I think it will work out for them and he brings 3. Edited January 18, 2017 by oridgecat

Turtle
Well from a reliable source, Knox West really did Kevin Lane wrong once again. The job was Lane's Monday morning , Knox County approved it and all. Later that night, the head principal called Lane back and said they changed their mind . Tuesday morning they offered the job to Brown. What's your thoughts on this? I know for sure the community, players, and parents all wanted lane but the principal lead him on . That's wrong on so many levels
oridgecat
I'm just hoping the players buy into the new coaching staff and all move forward in the right direction. Coach Brown is a good coach and his track record speaks for itself. Edited January 19, 2017 by oridgecat
fooseball95
Regardless if it's true or not he didn't get the job. And if I were him I'd leave west faster than Usain being chased by a bear.
Turtle
Turtle, Most of that is true, the only part that is unclear is where you said, "knox County approved it and all". That part of it depends on who you ask or who you're talking to. I'm just going off what was told to me. Either way, if West led Lane on that's wrong on their part . Himmy
Well all I can say is what comes around goes around. I watched him lead kids on all the time. If he was such a good coach he wouldn't have missed out on the job two times. I mean how hard is it to get a teaching certificate?

Nothing that you said makes any sense. I am guessing you are a former player who Lane tried to build up and encourage because he thought that you needed football to better your life and keep you from being a loser in life like you turned out to be. You clearly took it personal that you never touched the field even though you were told you were doing a good job by the coaches. Lane probably kept you off the field so you wouldn't get hurt. 2nd don't ever bash the education field with your lack of knowledge. Getting a teaching certificate is no easy task. It takes countless hours of classes, studying, and preparation to pass the test to get your certification.

The time commitment is probably the hardest part.
